For nearly 7 years, we have been working closely with executives on the performance of their businesses through big data. One of the interesting insights we’ve gleaned from these engagements has been the correlation between the office environment and decision making abilities. What we mean is office layout, productivity software, dashboards, mobile phones, tablets, and adjacent conference rooms for meetings. Most executives we visit have pretty messy offices like the following guy. How does he get anything done?
What we learned is if the office environment is optimized for decision making, the decision maker spends less time looking for information and trying to intrepid it; With the help of our solution, they’ll spend more time working with others and running their businesses with optimized information based on personal criteria.
At Extended Results, we decided to build out the BI Innovation Center as a showcase of the potential and possibilities, based on these optimized decision making experiences.
